We start the winter term with an highly interesting presentation by Dr. Elizabeth Baldwin from University of Arizona about their latest work on “Context, Operations, Outcomes, and Feedbacks: A literature review and framework for research on polycentric governance”   

About the Presenter

Dr. Elizabeth Baldwin is an Associate Professor in the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona. She studies polycentric environmental policy and governance, and has active research projects on invasive species management, U.S. Forest Service decision making, energy provision in sub-Saharan Africa, and U.S. county policy responses to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Her work has been published in World Development, Governance, Annual Review of Environment and Resources, Environmental and Resource Economics, Environmental Policy and Governance, Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution, Policy Studies Journal, and the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory. She received her PhD in 2015 from Indiana University, where she studied at the Ostrom Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis.
