Here a very recent interesting post on Mark Lubell’s Website (Polycentric Governance: A Concept Searching for a Theory) on discussions concerning polycentricity. It Highlights the Need for further empirical and conceptual work to fully grasp positive and negative aspects potentially associated with Polycentricity. The blog mentions just the right starting points. Recent work by McGinnis (2016 – paper published on the website of the Ostrom Workshop) indicated a similar need for deeper scrutiny! A good reasond for this community to work more coherently….
