Dept of Sociology, Colorado State University

I am involved in research on environmental flow governance on the Upper Colorado River in the U.S. Environmental flow governance in this region is characterized by management for multiple purposes and involves multiple often competing, often cooperating water interest groups. Polycentric governance offers theoretical and analytical tools for understanding and developing responses for challenges facing the larger Colorado River governance system.
